Our Spring Garden: Spring Gardening in Alabama

Our Spring Garden: Spring Gardening in Alabama

Hubby and and I love growing vegetables and improving every year with our farming skills! Buying plants is getting so expensive, like $5-$6 per plant at Walmart. Last year while doing Market in the Park, hubby got a bunch of free seeds from a gardening co-op so most of the seeds we planted were free.

Here is what’s sprouted so far:

Roma tomatoes

Spinach

Bell pepper

Jalapeño

Basil

Romaine lettuce

Green leaf lettuce

Swiss chard

Bok choy

Gourmet lettuce

Kale

Green onion

Radishes

Squash

Beets

Cucumber

Watermelon

Cantaloupe

Marigolds

Beefstake tomatoes

Red cherry tomatoes

Onion

Basil

Chococlate cherry tomatoes

Sunflowers

Carrots
